Release Smartlinks

Release Smartlinks gives your organization a branded destination for each release. Admins can control which links appear, how access works, and how performance is measured across campaigns, DSPs, referrers, and outbound platforms.

What it enables

CapabilityUse case
Branded release pagesSend listeners to one clean page instead of many platform links.
DSP routingShow Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, YouTube Music, and other configured destinations.
Admin priority rulesOrganization-level allowed links, blocked links, and ordering override user preferences.
User controlsArtists and team members can choose visible links inside the admin-approved set.
AnalyticsTrack page views, outbound clicks, referrers, UTM campaigns, device mix, and per-link performance.

Access and monetization

ModeBehavior
Free for allEvery eligible user can publish smartlinks without extra release-level payment.
Membership or packageAccess is granted when the release owner has the configured membership or Pay-Per-Release package.
Base feeA release-level fee is required when no package grants access.
DeniedUsers cannot publish smartlinks until access is granted by the organization rules.
  1. Decide whether smartlinks are included for all users, tied to packages, or sold per release.
  2. Configure organization-level platform rules before inviting users to edit links.
  3. Keep the most important DSPs at the top of the page.
  4. Use UTM parameters for campaigns so analytics remain useful.
  5. Review click distribution after each campaign and remove low-value destinations when they clutter the page.

Analytics guidance

Use outbound clicks as the primary performance signal. Page views show traffic volume, but per-platform clicks show where listeners actually go. For campaign analysis, compare referrers, UTM sources, top links, and device behavior together.
