Email Setup
In the Email Setup tab under Organization Settings, administrators can configure the email settings used for sending notifications to users. These settings allow your organization to define the sender email and domain, ensuring that notifications are sent from a branded email address, improving user trust and communication.1. Custom Domain Name
This field displays your organization’s custom domain name (e.g.,example.com). This domain will be used as the sender identity for emails sent to your users.
- Current Domain: The domain you currently have linked to your organization’s tenant. This domain is displayed in a read-only text field.
Note: The domain must be properly configured in your DNS settings to send emails from this domain. If changes are pending, you may see a warning alert until the domain is fully authenticated.
2. Sender Email
The Sender Email is the email address used to send notifications to your users. You can enter a no-reply email address or a support email address here.- Example:

Authentication Process
After you enter your sender email, SpaceMedia will guide you through the authentication process to ensure emails are sent securely and reliably. You may need to add TXT records to your domain registrar’s DNS settings to verify ownership of the domain. Here are the steps:- TXT Records: You will be provided with necessary TXT records to verify and authenticate your domain for sending emails.
- Verification: Once your domain is authenticated, you’ll be able to send emails using this sender email.
3. Email Authentication Records
Once the sender email and domain are configured, SpaceMedia provides the following records to help you complete the setup:Brevo Code
- Type: The type of DNS record (e.g.,
TXT). - Name: The host name to be used for your domain’s TXT record.
- Value: The code value to be added to your DNS settings.
DKIM Record
- Type: Typically a
TXTrecord used for DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM). - Name: The host name for your DKIM record.
- Value: The actual DKIM record value to add to your DNS settings.
DMARC Record
- Type: The
TXTrecord type for DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance). - Name: The host name for your DMARC record.
- Value: The value to enter for the DMARC policy in your DNS settings.
4. Save Changes
Once you’ve configured the sender email and domain, and followed the DNS setup instructions, click Save Changes to save your email settings. The system will validate your domain and email configuration. If everything is correct, you will receive a confirmation, and you will be able to start sending emails using your authenticated domain.This page provides organization admins with the ability to configure their sender email and custom domain for email notifications, along with the necessary steps to authenticate the domain and ensure secure email delivery.
